Who We Are
Chosen Generation Church International (CGC) is a Christ-centered, Spirit-filled local church located in Gaithersburg, Maryland. We are a diverse community of believers united by our love for Jesus Christ and our commitment to His Word.
Founded on the conviction that the Church is God's instrument for transformation in the world, CGC exists to make disciples, equip the saints for ministry, and glorify Jesus Christ in all things. We believe that every person is created in the image of God with inherent worth and purpose, and that through faith in Jesus Christ, they can be restored to relationship with God and empowered to live for His glory.
We gather each Sunday for Spirit-led worship, expository preaching, fellowship, and prayer. Beyond Sunday mornings, we seek to live out our faith in our homes, workplaces, and communities — being salt and light wherever God places us.

Discipling Believers
We are committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ — people who know God's Word, walk in obedience, and reproduce faith in others. Discipleship is not a program; it's a way of life.
Equipping for Ministry
Every believer is a minister. We equip the saints with knowledge, skills, and spiritual gifts to serve effectively in the body of Christ and impact the world around them.
Glorifying Jesus
Our ultimate aim is to bring glory to Jesus Christ in all things — in our worship, our service, our relationships, and our witness to the world.
Our Purpose
“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.”

This passage is at the heart of who we are. As CGC, we understand ourselves to be a people called out of darkness into God's marvelous light — chosen for a purpose, set apart for His glory.
